This notice covers the Authentic Assessment Design Studio, created by Kevin Ashford-Rowe and offered free to support educators.

Information entered into the Studio is processed within ChatGPT. I do not currently collect or store your Studio conversations or uploaded files separately. OpenAI’s applicable privacy policy and your account settings govern how ChatGPT handles that information: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/

Please remove student names, identifying details and confidential information before sharing assessment materials.

I intend to measure uptake through aggregate usage counts where available. This notice will be updated when measurement arrangements are confirmed or data practices change. If you contact me through the website’s contact form, your name, email address and message are delivered to me by email. I use this information to respond to your enquiry and normally delete the email correspondence within 24–48 hours after responding. The form submission and email delivery are processed by the website and email service providers. You can use the same contact form to request deletion of correspondence I still hold.

Authentic Assessment Matters is hosted by GoDaddy. The website displays a cookie banner with options to accept or decline cookies. Website visit statistics are separate from activity within the Authentic Assessment Design Studio in ChatGPT. Any website analytics used to measure uptake will be described here once their configuration is confirmed.
